So You Want to Be President

Did you know Teddy Roosevelt's children practically had a zoo in the White House? Or that George Washington worried about being President? So You Want to Be President is a Caldecott Award winning book teaching kids fun facts about each of our presidents. This book also gives instruction to those children aspiring to become President of the United States of America. Use Pockets of Time for So You Want to Be President (reader not included) for a fun way to check reading comprehension. The student will be placing color coded flashcards in order of the book's events and placing them in a hand crafted pocket. The pocket can be placed into a binder or a folder for storage and portfolio checks. The color code allows for a quick one step check of accuracy. Use this time during election season to learn more about our Presidents and the office of the presidency of the United States!
